The Kids Room

The children room is the most playful and interesting thing to design as it needs a lot of creativity but one should be very careful and practical while designing. The general rules while planning a children room are:

• The room should grow with the child so the elements chosen in the room should not be very long lasting and thus everything should be very versatile.
• The babies grow quickly from newborn to infant, then to play school and finally to school and college so the objects are bound to change for every stage.
• One must start with the child’s favorite interest and that should be the key factor to design anything.
• The storage is one thing that grows with the child and to fulfill that need, one must have adequate storage.
• The window treatment is very important as it defines the look of any room. It should supply sufficient light and air. They can be simple or colourful; they can have curtains, films, blinds or roller shades.
