Women drinkers are higher on risks in counter consequences than men’s, as women body takes alcohol in a different form. It can be said that alcohol never does good to any gender rather it has made the things and conditions all the more deteriorating. Doctors say, women drinkers are prone to health risk, the reason being the gender bodily structure and differences in brain chemistry which woman makes susceptible to alcohol damage.

Drinking in women can have disastrous effects damaging brain and leading memory loss. It is being reported by doctors that alcohol kills women’s brain cell faster making them vulnerable to cognitive problems. Frequent drinking renders to memory loss and brain shrinkage.
Enhance risks of breast cancer

Drinking in women enhances the chances of the deadly breast cancer, says an expert. Alcohol changes the estrogen level in the body promoting the chances of cancer. Alcohol increases the risks of breast cancer, but it has various other multiple factors such as inheritance, early puberty, late menopause and delay in childbirth.
Risks of depression
Alcohol is considered as depressant since it lowers down the effect of neurotransmitters found in the brain like serotonin and norepinephrine which controls the mood. The alcohol triggers down the effect of these hormones making you feel depressant.
Drink hangovers worse for women
Women body weighs less and has low water content in the body than men. Thus women experience bad hangover than men do and this would further worsen the condition. Hangover can lead to ruining days and nights making you unconscious and irritable.
Other reproductive health hazards
Frequent and excessive drinking habits have health hazards on women’s reproductive system which can cause delays in menses and ovulatory dysfunction. It can also cause other problems like infertility, heart problems in delivering babies and brain defects.
