Can you stay healthy all your lifetime? How can you keep yourself healthy for long years even in older age? These are some of the nasty questions that tickle our mind when it comes to health. Men’s can stay healthy for longer time than women’s. Though this is not a proven fact, if logically we turn on our mind we can see how women’s have to go through all the hardships during their lifetime.

However, today with coming technology and exposure to technological equipments has caused numerous pernicious diseases in both the sexes. But men’s are more active in enduring baleful ailments which even cause death.

Disease never arrives by informing you and it is the duty of every man to be dutiful and detect at early stage. It is always recommended to get health checkups after you turn 30. It is important to go through a screening in order to detect a disease at the stage when they are easy to treat. Go to the doctor and take your health screening so that if you find any misdeed then you can properly cure it. Find a good health care centre to get treated and talk to your doctor.

Here are some of the diseases which should be tested at an early stage through screenings:

Obesity

To check your ideal body weight, take a screening to calculate BMI. Obesity is the major problem in men’s and can be prevent with healthy diet and proper exercising schedule. Obesity normally lead due to the improper food habits and to detect the cause BMI screening is important.

High blood pressure

High blood pressure has become a common problem in people especially in men’s. It is as fatal as cancer and must be checked at regular intervals with proper medications. If blood pressure is 140/90 or higher than it must be treated with medication.

High cholesterol

Start taking your cholesterol screening when you turn 35 and this will help diagnose other diseases such as diabetes, low/high blood pressure, cardiac disease etc. Screening at an early age helps detecting disease at early age and important for healthy body. If the disease is diagnose in early thirties then it could be affectively subdued.

Diabetes

Type 2 diabetes is epidemic in the whole world and men’s suffering from this pernicious disease must keep a check on food, medicine and exercise. Get your diabetes checkup at a proper interval.

STD’s

Sexually transmitted disease can be caused by various sources such as sexually active with multiple partners, transfusion of blood and unsafe sex. Some of the STD’s classified as syphilis, HIV, gonorrhea etc. They must be diagnosed and treated at the early stage actively.

Healthy steps to thwart disease

  • Stay healthy by adding a little activity which also helps in reducing body weight keeping you fit.
  • Exercise regularly to maintain the cholesterol level and walk as much as you can.
  • Avoid trans-fats and carbohydrates in your diet. Heavy and spicy food can be replaced by raw vegetables, fruits and fibers from salads.
  • Avoid smoking and alcohol in any form.
  • Take a regular checkup for heart, blood pressure and other ailments.
  • Include food like whole grains, fat-free, low-fat milk and milk products. Also add nuts, fish, poultry, eggs and beans to your diet.
