Personal hygiene is a matter of maintaining good health and grooming of the external body by generally looking after you. Maintaining personal hygiene through care and cleanliness is way towards staying healthy. Parents should be much more careful to make their children understand the standard basics of personal hygiene. Teenagers are worst affected with illnesses and infection due to incautious during puberty when all kinds of changes took place in their body. Unwanted growth of hairs, body odour, and excessive sweating and oil secretion from hairs is common problem faced by teenagers.
All of sudden many changes appear in girls and boys as soon as they attain puberty and especially girls have to be extremely careful for their personal care. At the same time they may encounter with excessive hair growth on the different parts of the body and with the same comes odour. To keep yourself clean through all the threats of teenage is key way to personal health.
Beating the sweat and body odour
Teenagers might wonder the sudden outbreak of different odour and excessive sweating from body which at times irritate them. Sweating is caused by sweat glands which get active during puberty producing different chemicals which merges with the sweat to give body odour. The most seat affected areas are under armpits, feet and genitals.
The best way to cleanliness is taking bathe everyday, changing clothes, socks and other things would probably help to wash out the infections and bacteria. Poor hygiene and untidy clothes enhances the risk of infections and contribute to bad odour.

Growing with body hair
Growing body hairs at different places is nothing but the reaction which comes in action during the puberty in both men and women. Unwanted hairs may frustrate girls more than boys as they quickly need to remove them to avoid any awful comment. Boys start shaving off their underarms and face while girls use various hair removing creams and wax for underarms and legs.
Hair growth on the body is nothing but the action of hormones and a normal thing to take place in human body. But to keep up and cleanliness of body is important for children but be careful and comfortable with whatever they use to get their body clean. Most girls use bleach to lessen the visibility of facial hairs and other hair removing creams for arms & legs. There is nothing to worry about if you have excess hair on the body just remember that achieving personal hygiene and cleanliness is the easiest way to overcome these problems.
Oil secretion from hairs and face
Excess oil secretion is another problem faced by many children who have just reached puberty and due to the changes in hormones oil glands secrete excess oil from hair and face which also responsible for acne. During this age sebaceous glands produces oil which makes hair and face look oily, shiny and greasy.
For this it is necessary to wash off hairs frequently in a day or two so as to prevent oil from hair. Using mild shampoo and warm water to rinse hair will help removing grease and oil from hairs. But remember to pick specialized product subjected to your skin type and oil free.
For oily face, using specialized products such as non-oily soap, face wash and toner will fulfill the purpose and washing off the face very often prevents excess oil and dust. Sometimes excess oil production leads to facial acne and for this proper medication should be recommended. Do not pop the acne as they appear rather try to make face dust & oil free.
