How to minimize sun tanning of skin
Tanning is common problem caused by excess exposure of skin during summers when the sun shines at its peak and we could do nothing except wearing sleeveless clothes. Half shirt or sleeveless usually leads to tanning on the hands and even face is the most affected area which get tanned. Yet people can’t resist themselves of retreating on the beach and near the swimming pools during the summers.
Though swimming is not bad but it can lead to maximum tanning on the body by changing the colour of exposed parts from white to dark tan. For many people summer means hanging out near markets, pools and freak places under the shade and these all refers to exposure of skin which leads to tanning.
To enjoy the summer without skin tan, people need to make sure that their skin is not fully exposed in the sunlight and if it is somehow then apply specific sunscreen or other natural remedy to minimize the affect of sunlight. Tanned skin shows the cellular damage on skin which can only be treated with proper skin care lest it would harm the specific area by changing the colour permanently.
Causes of tanning
- The changing of skin colour due to exposure into sunlight is what is called tanning and this happens due to the UVA radiation emitted by sun while UVB rays causes sun burns.
- Though both the rays are harmful for skin, but UVA changes only skin colour which can only be treated with proper care and neglecting sun exposure.
- UVA radiations penetrates deeper into the skin and triggers down skin cells melanocytes which thereby produces melanin, a brown colour pigment responsible for change of skin colour.
- Exposing body parts in sun without sunscreen render skin tan, skin rash and sun burn.
